Criteria for Admission

Applicants to the D.Min. program must have earned a Master of Divinity degree or equivalent from an accredited seminary or divinity school. Applicants must have three years of experience in ministry subsequent to completing the M.Div., unless applying for the D.Min. Affiliated Program in Religion and Health or the D.Min. Affiliated Program in Spirituality and Spiritual Direction.

The D.Min. application requires:

• Materials as outlined under Instructions for D.Min. Applicants (Section II, items 1-4  on the application form)
• If pursuing admission to one of the D.Min. Cooperative Programs (D.Min. in Religion and Health or D.Min. in Spirituality and Spiritual Direction,) applicants must apply separately to the affiliated program selected.  CTS admission is contingent upon proof of acceptance to the cooperative program, prior to final enrollment.

International Applicants

International Applicants: all non-native English speakers who are applying to any degree program must submit a Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of no lower than 550 paper or 217 computer. The TOEFL code for CTS is 1120.
