What is the Castañeda Lecture?
The 2008 Gilberto Castañeda Celebration is sponsored by the LGBTQ Religious Studies Center at the Chicago Theological Seminary. Now in its third year, the Center is a think-tank and activist resource center. Its mission is to bring together activist academics and thoughtful activists to advance the movement for justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning people.
