The Doctor of Ministry is comprised of four interrelated components:
- Coursework
|
- Professional Components
(2-day intensives)
|
- Project in Ministry
|
- Professional Paper
|
The program is currently designed so that students may complete the professional components and two required courses - Interpretation and the Writing Seminar - during the month of January, as part of our CTS "J-Term."
The six other classes may be taken during the fall or spring semester, during J-Terms or summer intensives.
Please note: Courses offered on the semester system and in the intensive format by other seminaries in the Association for Chicago Theological Schools (ACTS) are also available to CTS students, providing a wide and flexible range of options for completing a Doctor of Ministry as a full or part-time student.
To discuss your particular focus and to assess what available CTS electives would be best suited to your individual course of study, contact the Director of Admissions.
