Doctor of Ministry at Chicago Theological Seminary

Criteria for Admission

Applicants to the D.Min. program must have earned a Master of Divinity degree or equivalent from an accredited seminary or divinity school. Applicants must have three years of experience in ministry subsequent to completing the M.Div., unless applying for the D.Min. Affiliated Program in Religion and Health or the D.Min. Affiliated Program in Spirituality and Spiritual Direction.

The D.Min. application requires:

• Materials as outlined under Master of Divinity and Master of Arts program application requirements;
• A ministry project proposal (for guidelines, refer to the D.Min. application, available at www.ctschicago.edu).

International Applicants

International Applicants: all non-native English speakers who are applying to any degree program must submit a Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of no lower than 550 paper or 217 computer. The TOEFL code for CTS is 1120.
