What is the Schaalman Lecture?
Affiliated with the Rabbi Herman Schaalman Chair in Jewish Studies, The Rabbi Herman Schaalman Lecture being inaugurated this evening is the first in a series of annual offerings to the larger community. The Lecture aims to bring Scholars in Jewish Studies to the Seminary in order to create a warmer and more fruitful relationship between Judaism and Christianity.
