CTS Student Stories

Epenito Ursos '10

My name is Epenito “Rambu” Ursos and I am a third-year Master of Divinity student and the 2009 recipient of the Richard and Helen Brown International  Seminarian Pastoral Scholarship (UCC). I come from Davao City in the Philippines where I also earned a B.S. in Biology and an M.A. in Social Psychology from Silliman University.

For me, ministry is caring for people, for community, and for the environment. It is working alongside people to achieve understanding, acceptance, forgiveness and unity. God calls people from all walks of life to come together for the sake of common goals and to help those in our midst who suffer.
