Faculty NewsReturning FacultyThis year we are happy to welcome back one full-time faculty member who have been on sabbatical. Dr. Lee Butler, Professor of Theology and Psychology, has returned from a sabbatical in the Spring of 2011. Prof. Professor Butler conducted research toward a new book on religion, terror, and America. Prof. Butler gave the opening convocation address for the Spring 2012 term - also the first convocation address in the new chapel in our new building - titled, “Do You Dream in Color?: Religion, Terror, and the American Dream.” Sabbatical AnnouncementsDr. Ken Stone, Professor of Bible, Culture and Hermeneutics and Academic Dean, is on sabbatical starting as of January 2012 and will return for the start of the fall term, 2012. While Dean Stone is on sabbatical, Dr. Timothy Sandoval will serve as interim Academic Dean. Dr. Dow Edgerton, Professor of Ministry, is on sabbatical starting as of January 2012 and will return for the start of the fall term, 2012. Dr. Laurel Schneider, Professor of Theology, Ethics and Culture, is on leave starting as of February 2012 and will return for the start of the fall term, 2012.
