- Position Description: The person filling this .5 position will be responsible for the planning and oversight of the Christian Education program at Bethel UCC for children and youth. This would include active involvement in Sunday morning church school for up to 3 groups of youth (Elementary, Middle School, and High School). Also included are fellowship and service programs as well as mission trips and vacation bible school. There would be a large program development component as well as relationship building and mentoring with the youth of the church. This person would be part of the Bethel church staff working collegially with other staff for the overall faith development and mission of the church.

Chapel Co-ordinator, Chicago Theological Seminary Posted 5.14.10
- Job Description: The Chapel Coordinator will provide support to those planning chapel services.
- Responsibilities: The Chapel Coordinator will keep abreast of chapel policies and procedures, and will construct and/or maintain a list of chapel resources, particularly a list of community members willing to provide music support or leadership during chapel services. The Coordinator will contact chapel leaders two weeks before each chapel service to confirm that chapel leaders are familiar with chapel policies and procedures. She or he will offer her or his services in assisting with chapel planning, music support, and chapel set-up and break-down. When no one is signed up to lead a week’s chapel service, the Coordinator will work with the Director of Community Life to plan and execute an appropriate worship service. Other duties as assigned.
- Compensation: Compensation is $1500/year, to be paid semi-monthly through payroll, beginning at the start of the fall and spring semesters.
