As Director of our CTS Center for Jewish, Christian and Islamic Studies, I invite you to please join us for the following:
Sukkat Shalom and Justice Week, Sept. 18-25
Wednesday, September 18
Help build the Sukkah 4-6:30 p.m.
Potluck and interfaith celebration 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Share an interfaith celebration of this thanksgiving festival, including building our geodesic dome sukkah, followed by a brief service and potluck dinner with diverse food traditions.
Sunday, September 22
Creating food justice: 3-6:30 p.m.
Glean produce for local food pantries
with K.A.M. Isaiah Israel Synagogue’s Food Justice and Sustainability Program
Film and Faith Series: 7 p.m.
The Gatekeepers - Nominated as “best documentary feature,” Academy Awards.
For the first time in history, six former heads of Israel’s secret service reflect publicly on their actions. Dinner will be served.
