ECOmmunity—A multifaith educational and social justice initiative

Communities are ecosystems; what can you do to help them thrive?  CTS is launching a new program, recruiting Jewish, Christian and Muslim students to build bridges across religious and cultural difference.  Societal transformation becomes the common ground of our multifaith cohort as we explore the intersections of theological education, interreligious engagement, social justice and sustainability.

With the commitment to world repair as our common ground, students will pursue a Master of Arts in Religious Leadership degree with concentrations in Social Transformation or Interfaith Engagement.  Customizable programs of study and an expanded list of Chicago partners for field placement make the ECOmmunity program perfect for students of diverse religious traditions to learn from and with each other.  They will also benefit from a series of dedicated workshops in community organizing, not-for-profit leadership, sustainability, interreligious engagement, conflict transformation and deconstructing privilege.  For further information, contact our Director of Recruitment and Admissions (This email address is being protected from spambots.
