Celebrating its 25th year, the Castañeda Award is presented either to openly gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered students or to those who actively support the LGBTQ student community at CTS. Our 2019 lecturer is Kent L. Brintnall, Associate Professor, Religious Studies, and Affiliate Faculty, Women’s & Gender Studies, University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
