2017 DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD LUNCHEON

Prior to Commencement, CTS will honor the recipient(s) of the 2017 Distinguished Alumni Award. The 2017 Luncheon is a CTS tradition where we invite graduates, their families, and members of the CTS community to gather together and celebrate the achievements of the graduates and the recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award. 

We are proud to announce that Herman Haller (DMin 1984), Nathan Dannison (MDiv 2009) and Judge Emily Hewitt (DMin 2011) are our 2017 Distinguished Alumni Award winners. All three alums have demonstrated that they are pillars within their communities and best reflect our message of love and tolerance. We are very excited to host them at this luncheon and hear them share their experience and wisdom. Registration will be available soon.

The 2017 Chicago Theological Seminary Commencement will introduce a new generation of dynamic religious scholars, activists, and community leaders on May 12 at Trinity United Church of Christ at 2:00 pm.  The ceremony will celebrate graduates and feature Dr. Reza Aslan as the Commencement speaker.
