Do you seek a a learning environment where you can combine scholarly interests with social activism, ministry with social justice? Do you aim to be a transformative religious leader, a community organizer?
Come learn how CTS balances an "Ecology of Commitments" - commitments that range from LGBTQ religious studies to black faith and life to interreligious dialogue - and experience why CTS is known to cultivate religious leaders who transform society toward greater justice and mercy.
The best way to get to know Chicago Theological Seminary is to experience it for yourself. We can welcome you as a part of a small group in one of our upcoming Experience CTS events, or, we can design an Individual Visit tailored specifically to your schedule, needs and interests.
A typical Individual Visit might include meeting with a member of the Admissions team to discuss your choice of degree program and personal goals; a tour of the campus; meeting with faculty and students; sitting in on a class; attending community chapel and lunch; or speaking with the chair of the degree program to which you are applying (Doctor of Ministry and PhD.)
Individual visits are generally scheduled on Tuesdays or Wednesdays during the academic year. They typically last half a day and can be scheduled in the morning or afternoon to accommodate your needs. To register for an Individual Visit, you can either contact the Admissions Office or complete a Visit CTS Form online.
