In the spirit of collaborative learning and on-going partnership, this Fall CTS and Bayan will once again host a mini-symposium in which students in the various graduate programs across the institution can present current research and interests to the campus community.

The symposium will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 1:00-3:15 pm Central. It will be hybrid (online and on campus) during the week in which Bayan courses meet in person.

We will have the opportunity to hear papers delivered by CTS and Bayan students. These papers may relate to master’s or doctoral theses under development, research you are doing for coursework, or other topics of interest relevant to our shared journeys.

After a very successful and exciting inaugural year, we hope that the 2nd annual mini-symposium continues to contribute to intellectual exchange, encourage students to produce publishable research and gain feedback from faculty and peers, and further collegial relationships and mutual support among students.
