The leaked draft of a SCOTUS ruling overturning Roe v. Wade represents a historic disaster for human rights and reproductive freedom. If enacted, this ruling will cause disturbing and tragic effects and will endanger pregnant people and abortion seekers. At CTS we trust pregnant people to have autonomy over their bodies and their lives. Reproductive justice is a matter of religious freedom and we trust pregnant people to make reproductive choices based on their own faith and conscience.

As people of faith, we insist:

• Abortion is healthcare.
• Abortion is a human right.
• Abortion should be safe.
• Abortion should be legal.
• Abortion should be available to all.

We will not return to a dark age of forced pregnancies and back-alley abortions. We support abortion rights for all and will work to defend that right.
